Hi!
Welcome to my UX portfolio. I bring you three product design examples and one example where I made some icons.
Product Design:
Point of Sale Terminals
Wash World sells car washes throughout the Scandinavian countries. Customers arrive at a wash hall and order a car wash at a touch screen.
The problem: Cluttered UI causes confusion. Wash content is not explained. No staff on-site to offer assistance.
Outcome: Five new pages, plus variations, modals, menus, etc., were designed. New get help modal available on all pages. Animations done in Figma but were not implemented.
Product Design:
E-commerce Checkout Flow
At Wash World, subscriptions are purchased online by prospective customers themselves.
Pains: The old solution was not optimized for mobile, yet 70% of Wash World’s customers were using their phones.
The content of subscription tiers is not explained
UI elements made for desktop make interaction on mobile cumbersome
Ordering more than one subscription requires filling out the same bit of information more than once
Outcome: I estimate that somewhere between 70 to 80% of the new designs was implemented by developers. Now easier and faster to purchase more than one subscription.
Product Design:
Task Management Tools
Wash World operates around 200 wash halls all of which require regular servicing by technicians. A better way of handling error reports, planning the technicians’ daily schedule, and for the technicians themselves to see their schedule was needed in order to minimize wash hall downtime and give customers a better experience.
The problem: Too many different systems are relied on to log errors, obsolete systems are used to plan the daily schedules for technicians, and technicians can not currently see their schedules on their phones very easily.
Outcome: A new supervisor role was made for the organization. Three new software solutions were designed and implemented within a new overarching administration platform to replace legacy programs.
Icon Design at Wash World
This is a series of cool icons I made in Figma to be used in Wash World’s interface for selling add ons.
